Avg of 19 for the tour. That's rubbish, he's woefully out of form. Not a big score from him. All the others around him have had a couple of decent games.
This team is now suffering with him opening the batting. His captaincy is up for debate, but his form with the bat is was ultimately matters in ODI*Except Michael, who died.

If Pietersen finds some form it will leave the ECB in an interesting position. No way will he be disappearing quietly.
Kevin Pietersen shines in Australian T20 Big Bash defeat
Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen scored 66 from 46 balls for Melbourne Stars in the first match of the Australian Big Bash Twenty20 season.
The 34-year-old hit four sixes and two fours, while Sussex's Luke Wright made 45 off 37 balls in a total of 148-7.
But Tim Ludeman hit the fastest Big Bash fifty, off 18 balls, making 92 as Adelaide won by eight wickets.
Pietersen led the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League this year but was released when they finished bottom.
He made 294 runs in 11 games at an average of 29.40, with a highest score of 58.
In February, he was told he would no longer be selected by England.Modifying post.

Broad talking sense..
Kevin Pietersen: Broad questions batsman's England sacking
England bowler Stuart Broad believes it might have been better to drop Kevin Pietersen from the team rather than end the batman's international career.
Pietersen, 34, was discarded by England in February 2014 after their 5-0 Ashes defeat last winter.
"I just think the sacking became a media uproar," Broad told BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek programme.
"It just seemed a bit unnecessary when every other player gets dropped for poor form, don't they?"
Pietersen later went on to release a book in which he said there was 'bullying culture' in the England dressing room.
"It could have been handled very differently by everyone," Broad, 28, added.
"If I'd have been there I might have said: 'Look, that was such a disastrous Australia tour - all the players didn't perform to an international standard. You have to go and perform in county cricket at the start of the year to get back in the England team in May'.
"Then pick the team on players who went and performed and did their duties for their counties."Modifying post.
