Why haven't you mentioned Australia? They are the stand out favorites. In the best form and have home advantage. I'll be amazed if they don't at least make the final.

Assuming they don't meet in the QF the semi final will be Australia, SA, NZ and one other who could be absolutely anyone (apart from the Windies who are in chaos).

England should waltz out of their group, all they need to do to qualify for the QF is beat Scotland, Afganistan and Bangladesh. If we can't do that they should make the players swim home.

I was just thinking of dark horses, and perhaps that is doing NZ a disservice.

I'd agree the Aussies are favourites, and I'd fancy them to win it. They will not want to let the home support down, and having all of that pressure doesn't seem to faze them at all.

England are a really unpredictable right now. But it is amazing to see how the team are progressing (and how quickly) since they dispensed with Cook - leaving that decision so late, when it was so ****ing clear that he should have got the chop ages ago could be costly, as the current team given a bit more chance to bed in could really develop. Still needs a bit of experience I reckon

If so we could do with beating Sri Lanka to stand a better chance of avoiding SA. Bonus we won't have to play the Aussies or NZ in Quarters.
