The thing with Federer is that I don't think he has been tested yet, both Murray and Djokovic have.Originally posted by Lecter View PostThats the thing I dont think hes hit anywhere near top gear yet
Federer has looked amazing but I think if he plays Djokovic or Murray then they will probably expose him
Murray has looked decent but Djokovic hasnt been near his best yet is still in it and is cruising along nicely
Djokovic hasn't been near his best, but he looked dominant in the French and didn't win that. He most likely will have to face Wawrinka again in the semis in what could be an epic match. I'd say there is reason for optimism in thinking Novak is beatable, earlier in the year I'm not sure we could say that.
I fancy it is going to be a Murray v. Djokovic final... And I just have a sneaking suspicion Murray might edge it.

I love the bit where he says something to the umpire along the lines of, in a thick Aussie accent.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

(shouts to Gasquet) Richard, I'm just changing my socks'.
'and stuff'. The whole episode was totally unhinged.

I laughed at exactly the same things:
He's spot on about Nadal.
"and stuff"
"Richard! Richard........I'm just changing my socks"

He had just been given a code violation for doing some swearing I think, he was miffed about that, so the whole thing seemed as though it was in protest. Apparently he can get fined for every point he allegedly didn't try on.
They were talking about it on the radio, saying he did have 'issues', and was a complex character. He has some talent when his game is on thats for sure.
The whole thing made me really like him I must say. Add to that the fact John Inverdale hated what went on referring to it all as pitiful and disgraceful perhaps made me like Kyrgios even more.

Its funny watching that but if my daughter did anything like that in one of her junior tennis matches I'd go ****ing mental at her
Not trying is unforgivable in my book, the swearing and the gamesmanship is fine as is having the hump with yourself and the umpire and anyone else but the not trying is a difficult one to forgiveBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
