Federer bombed out early. Quite surprised tbh I do wonder if this might be his season on tour. Won it all and nothing left to prove.

I thought the same but he'll always want to win everything - just maybe the body letting him down a bit?

It seemed a bit strange that Federer planned to take a break after the Australian, where as most of the players see this as the start of the season. Must affect the mindset slightly?

Helps Murray a bit, after the absolute hiding Federer handed out to him in December. I am sure he fancies his revenge soon though.

So if Murray can get past Dimitrov, he will face either Seppi or Kyrgios in the 1/4's. Most likely Rafa in the Semi's and Novak should he get to the final.

It would be good if someone could take Novak out of the top half of the draw for him.
