Very good win for him I think he needed an "easy" match before having to face Berdych.

Didn't realise Berdych has a better head to head record, not many players can boast that against Andy. The only time Murray has consistently beaten him was in 2012 when he was at his peak. I think his form is around that level at the moment and so he has an excellent chance to get to the final.Originally posted by RichC View PostVery good win for him I think he needed an "easy" match before having to face Berdych.

Berdych is a very good player and that win against Nadal will certainly help his confidence going in against Murray. Murray does like the Aussie Open though been to 3 finals already (not won it yet mind!) I tihnk he'll get through Berdych but it'll depend on who he faces in the final, anyone bar Djokovic and I think he'll win it.

I think it will be a Murray v Stan final. That's his best chance of winning the thing, anyway.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostMuzza will beat Berdych
Muzza v Novak will be great, they've had some ****ing epic battles on that court. Great to see this renaissance from Andy.

Murray looks really confident right now. He seemed to relish that game, had Kyrgios under control all match really. He played some dynamite passing shots though and his defence looks rock solid right now. If he can keep up this form he should fear nobody.
It is interesting that his 'annus horribilis' (2013) form was 3 1/4 finals and 1 semi
He has set the bar that high for himself.
Would be great to see him win it. Hopefully he gets there and someone can take Novak out, as it would also be great for him to have a final against someone outside of the big 3.Modifying post.

It was Sharapova, Serena and Murray.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostNovak well on his way to the semis, 2 sets up and Raonic is not getting near him.
How did you get on with your bet Shaggy?
Was the treble Murray, Berdych and Bouchard
Had another last night - Sharapova and Serena again, plus Djokovic and Wawrinka (insanely he Stan was odds against).
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
