Fed was never gonna play as well today as he did v Murray, partly because that was about as good as it gets these days and it's hard to repeat, plus the effect of serving to Djokovic - the best returner around - makes it even more difficult to serve well.
I think Djokovic is the greatest sportsman on the planet today. An absolute iron man combined with ridiculous levels of skill. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Can't argue with any of that. To win today Roger needed to serve at least as well as he did on Friday (he played pretty much a perfect match on Friday) and he just didn't. Novak looked like he had the match in control pretty much all the way through. There have been some titanic finals in recent years, but this wasn't really one of them.
The best player in the world won today. The margins are slight but they are where they are on merit.Modifying post.
