First slam he's not made at least the 1/4's in 19 . Regroup, Davis Cup - try and get no 2 ranking, then go again next year.

His first year for 5 years not getting to a quarter final, Nadal first year in 10 that he's not won a slam. I wonder if things are slowly moving towards the new breed.

I think Nadal is done but this was a one-off for Murray I think. If he had a cold (sounds lame but it's a disadvantage), plus the 5 setter the other day....that can happen.
