Something like that. 54 with 6 over left. Turned into something like 36 off 2.1 overs. Not sure how that works.

It's because 18 off 2 is much easier than 54 off 6 and so they have to make tweaks to make an equivalent target.

It was ridiculous. It ended up a revised 46-over game. England's revised target was 379. So, England needed 34 runs off 13 balls.

Before the rain they were chasing 54 from 36 balls, with the game heading towards a barnstorming finish.

Why not just come back on and play out the remaining 6 overs?

I was thinking about this yesterday! Still need Cook in form for Test Matches though.
