One would hope this was Woaks last Test opportunity. I think he's proved he's not up to it, surely.

Going to need the rain to save this one.

              That Rabada kid looks decent.

Cracking effort from us this morning

Good to see us beating SA but bit of a disappointing end to the series.

                        Oops!

Really odd series. Each side dominated at different times, but neither really played well at the same time. Such extremes cant be good.
                        *Except Michael, who died.

It's got to be worrying times for test cricket.

When you see some of the crowds you have to wonder if the numbers stack up? And then when you see the huge crowds and atmosphere at the Big Bash it does seem that changes in the game could be lurking in the future.

Wish this was a 5 match series. Not a lot between the two teams. Confident that SA would have won with a fit Steyn and Philander, but no excuses the cricket played for the majority of this series was ****. Guys with a lot of quality like Duminy, Morkel and du Plessis need to step up consistently. They're in their 30s and need to perform.

Rabada is class. Steyn, Morris, Abbott, Philander, Morkel and some other guys pushing through. The present and future of the pace attack is in good hands.

Not true. Newlands was packed and both Centurion and Wanderers were very close to capacity on the weekends. It's just unfortunate that people need to work during the course of the week.

I'm against it, but you can see why the ICC are pushing for daynight tests

True enough - a dead rubber on a Tues not likely to bring in the crowds.
