Our batting is a joke. We totally rely on Root and Cook. Buttler, sadly, has been a disaster with the bat, Stokes has had a couple of good knocks but been largely ****, Bell looks finished, Bairstow isn't good enough. Real problems.

Harsh on Buttler who started his Test career brilliantly, it's just all gone to **** in the last 6 months, and Stokes has been inconsistent but largely good. I'd would **** off Bairstow and Bell, move Moeen to number 5 and bring in 2 new batsmen further up the order.

I reckon it would be Pakistan in trouble had we won the toss. Day one was good for batting but it's been a struggle since.

The team has some promise, there is definitely an on field leadership issue though. And it needs a batting lineup tweek. Also seem to have differing groups of 3-4 players losing form at the same time.
