Got to be an Olympian, surely. Bale can't win it with 3 Euro 2016 goals in such a successful Olympic year.

Surprised Anthony Joshua hasn't made the shortlist - won and defended a world title this year.

          JURGEN KLOPP - LIVERPOOL MANAGER

I'd vote for Andy Murray, but he's won it twice already, there might be a bit of voter fatigue with him.

I reckon they give it to Jason and Laura Kenny as a couple. Extra cheese points.

Murray is about 1/8, it's a no-contest and quite rightly too.

Although it's a bit mad that Mo Farah is around 25/1.

Murray hands down. But for me the best moment was Alistair Brownlee and also his amazing achievements over time... if Murray doesn't get it, then Brownlee would be a deserving recipient!

I think the whole doping thing has done Farah little credit this year. He is a little tarnished for some now I think. Same with Froome. The bloke won his 3rd TDF this year and he isnt even on the shortlist. Jamie Vardy is though.

I guess TUEs tarnish your reputation more than racism these days.
