That's incredible news as far as ranking points is concerned. Murray has a great chance to stretch out a lead.

IF Andy gets to the final he faces the potentially unwanted record of most Grand Slam tournament final defeats (6) a record he shares with his coach..!

If he gets to the final and faces anyone other than Novak then that is a massive boost for him. That allied to his potential to gather even more ranking points makes this tournament huge for him.

Huge drop in points for Djokovic from this loss, Murray as long as he get's deep into the tournament will have a really decent lead over him.

Doesn't feel like much is being made of Federer or Nadal at the moment for this tournament, if both are fully fit and firing they'll be in the mix for this come the final

I know, it has been a while since either featured at the sharp end of a tournament (Federer Wimbledon 1/4's last year, Nadal.... Dunno). For Andy, I'd prefer to see him face anyone but these guys but I guess they must fancy their own chances also with Novak going out.

That said, it would be nice to see Andy defeat Roger in a Final..!

I'd just not enjoy the pain of watching it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he'd prefer not to face either of them as well . Both have really struggled the last couple of years with injury. Watching Nadal at the moment he seems to have found a bit more of that zip in his ground strokes that have been missing for a while again.

In fact he's destroying Baghdatis at the moment.

Brilliant from Andy - another straight forward match - but against Querreh is impressive.

Dan Evans on track to progress v Tomic, 2 sets up.
