It was U12's Mixed Singles sorry basically they allowed her to play in the boys U12's tournament (she was the only girl who did)

She ran out of steam frankly (both physically & mentally) , if she had played that final first she quite possibly could have done the hattrick but that was by far the toughest match and after 3 hours on court it started to show

        Are you playing much yourself?

I've been injury free for a few months and playing about 4-5 times a week. Trying out new forehand grip and attempting to move to double handed back hand!

I love playing tennis, I'm so glad I got back into it. It's such a brilliant game, so enjoyable, and a game you can play to a decent level as you get older.

          No injured again

What forehand grip are you using?

Moved to a Western, been trying it out for a few weeks. When I hit it well, it's definitely a more difficult shot to return. But equally if someone hits a topspin shot at me, I've got to do a bit to get it back over the net. I think overall it gives me more control.

Had a good lesson the other day which really broke down my forehand and serve and I've been hitting both better since.

Just looked at the men's rankings, mental. Djokovic 12th, Murray 16th, Zverev 3rd and Thiem 4th.

I watched Andy back on court in an exhibition match with Federer in Glasgow. Looks like he is getting there fitness wise.

Andy Murray and Ivan Lendl have parted company again, amicably.

I remember her crying, sobbing even, on the Duchess of Kent's shoulder after she won Wimbledon. Awful news.
