They went down fighting tonight but were never really in the race, and of course for a guy who had surgery on his back a few weeks ago, Andy never looked fully fit.
He’s the greatest ever British Sportsman for me. What he achieved on and off the court.
Some of my moments (sat in my sofa watching sport for hour after endless hour) have been watching him play. Exhausting in itself sometimes. And what might have been were it not for injury’s… bit that he is the type to dwell on that.
I love watching novak lose, unfortunately I missed this today as had a day out in the Scottish Borders. Tried to escape the rain, which failed miserably but had a fabulous family day out at a farm park and castle. Love Scotland. Alcarez is brilliant.
