Kyrgios was more measured in his response than one might have thought, but he did genuinely seem to not be bothered by anything an opponent he had beaten, had to say.

"I'm not going to destroy him [Venus] in this media conference right now, but Granollers and Zeballos are great players and I respect them a lot more than I respect Michael Venus," Kyrgios said after Thursday's semifinal victory.

Michael Venus said he had never faced an environment like the one which greeted him and his partner during his Australian Open men’s double defeat to Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Having a cry, saying that Kyrgios has the emotional maturity of a 10 year old and that he is a 'knob' He may have a point with the noise during the points but it's a level playing field because his opposition would be equally distracted by it... it doesn't only work one way.

Cricket must be one of the most intricate sports when it comes to precision and no player has ever complained about crowd abuse during a match and very few have claimed the notorious sledging has bothered them. I actually struggle to think of another sport where contestants expect spectators to sit quietly for the duration, holding their cocks with a subdued applause every so often.

Then announcing to the media that your opponent is a knob after losing, real mature. That's the type of thing a 10 year old would do in all honesty. You lost, say well done in public and call him a cunt to your mates and get over yourself.

Yeah I agree 100%. The way Kygrios approaches tennis is great for the sport.
