Any of you fellas heard of a fighter called Kimbo?

He's a huge black guy who takes part in bareknuckle fights. He's an absolute monster.

I've seen one fight where he utterly destroy's another fighters eye / eye socket. Not nice stuff.

To be fair however the majority of his fights appear to be totally mis-matched. I don't think he's stand a chance in MMA unless he trained [alot]

There are plenty of his fights on youtube.

Seen a couple of them, seen one where he got his ass kicked by an off duty police officer. Was glad he got his ass kicked. He gassed very easily too. Wouldnt survive with cardio like that im MMA.

CroCop has smashed this big black guy who plays in some movies too. Knocked him out in 80 odd seconds with a punch to the head.

The fella that you are on about is called Bob Sapp. He used to play in the NFL. He is utter, utter pish. He appears to be a bully fighting alot og smaller guy's who he can man-handle however when he fights anyone of substance he generally get's battered about. Search for Bob Sapp on YouTube and you'll see what i mean.

Saw some Kimbo clips too. He is helped by fighting a few gutless fighters. He cracks them once and they give up. I saw the one where he lost and the guy wasn't that big and took him. Not to mention he had some heart, not like the other guys. Kimbo just looks like a street boxer, he doesn't use his feet and has no ground game. If he got it on with pro fighters like Cro Cop, Fedor etc he'd get smashed.

I'd like to see his stamina when he is taken to the ground by a MMA fighter and mauled on the ground.

He's a big boy though.

Watched some more UFC today, I still like Pride better. Seems to be a bit too much ground wrestling in UFC. Perhaps it was just the fights I saw, but Pride is more entertaining in terms of striking IMO. Found some Pride DVDs on Ebay too, want to get them to watch over Xmas. Still got 19 UFC DVDs from my friend left too watch.

Shockwave 31.12.2006 - Fedor v Hunt for the Heavyweight title.

Just read on their site they wanted it to be Fedor v CroCop but CroCop had surgery on his leg and they want them to meet when they are in both top condition.

Now that would be an awesome fight, hope it goes ahead in 2007.

Mate get yourself and Bittorrent cleint software and you cna download literally days of PrideUFC and other fight org events .. I watched one a about 14 months ago and now I think I have seen every event ever filmed ... love the sport
