Wildcard for Garcia, as much as I love him and he loves The Ryder Cup, he’ll have to work hard to justify his place in the team considering how poor his form has been this season.

He comes across as a dick all right but ‘on his day’ he is superb but aren’t they all at that level. The Yanks look as strong as they have been for years - good mix of experience and youth + they will have no fear.

I enjoy playing golf (on blue moons only these days) and don't mind watching the odd bit, but with the Ryder cup I could watch it first shot to last. Such a great format.

Yep - I still play (18) but nowhere near as often as my membership warrants but as you said I will watch every shot of the Ryder Cup. Such theatre and momentum swings - I love it.
