    Tokyo 2020 (in 2021)

    No takers for the Olympics then??

    It made me laugh in the opening ceremony though as they walked around they were still waving to the stands.....to who though??

    I just cba with it with no crowds. I've had my fill of that and now we're getting crowds back in I can't go back to it. It's a completely hollow experience.

        I know what you mean. Australia's having a second wave of covid frenzy here. My state went into a full lockdown and we only had 10 cases FFS! Huge game of footy tonight between the top two sides...played in front of no fans and it was a total fizzer. I went back to watching women's table tennis

        That said, there's a lot of olympic sports where the crowd really play no part really. Swimming for example, most of the athletics

                      Totally can't be arsed with the Olympics. Doesn't mean that it's not the first thing on in the LR household regardless of sport.

                        The Olympics are boring to me and I can't wait to give it a swerve when it hits Brisbane in 2032. Hats off to the athletes for their incredible skill and dedication though.

                          There are very few events that I care about. I wouldn’t watch dancing with horses or sailing a boat around a harbour if it was happening right in front of me, so it being in the olympics and on TV doesn’t make me want to. High level athletics can be entertaining so I’m sure I’ll watch the big athletics events, but even they are probably going to be anticlimactic without large crowds.

                              What's the origin of dressage? It's an outdated anachronism now surely? Dance horse! To the tune I play! For no reason!
