Murray and Evans through in ANOTHER epic.

Only the 2 career points saved this time. Ridiculous stuff

An awesome swim from this guy!! There was one point where I thought he blew it by taking the lead too early after 400m as very hard to sustain so he slipped back into 2nd after 550m then took control after 700m
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

This won't be sustainable for Murray & his partner as the opponents will be harder in the q/f onwards. I hope it goes well for him as he had no luck with injuries after winning at Wimbledon.

The Irish analysts said he didn’t use his feet until 100 to go so he was very much holding back to keep the tank pretty full. Then he went hard and managed to get it done - great for the country

Murray deserves to go out like this.

What a guy, Made up that he has had 2 games that almost mirror his career throughout the years.

The level of emotional energy spent when you literally are staring down the barrel of your last ever point as a pro must be massive. And on Evans also. One dumped volley from ending the career of an Icon. The celebrations reflect this.

                    It is massively compelling stuff.

BBC Olympic schedule says today at 11 is the Quarter zf8nal between GB and USA. Further down it then says at Midday is the Semi Final between USA and Czech Republic.

Interesting...what test do the IBA run then?? The below from a BBC article on today's events and a past event run by the IBA.

On Wednesday, the IBA said the pair were disqualified at the World Championships "to uphold the level of fairness and utmost integrity of the competition".

It said they "did not undergo a testosterone examination but were subject to a separate and recognised test, whereby the specifics remain confidential".

"This test conclusively indicated that both athletes did not meet the required necessary eligibility criteria and were found to have competitive advantages over other female competitors," the body added.

I’ve no idea, but as with Caster Semenya (sp) it appears to be a growing problem. But if it’s mismanaged it makes women’s sport uncompetitive.

Imagine dedicating your entire lives to the sport, the sacrifice and commitment that takes to even get to the Olympics to compete against the best women in the world and then some biological dude knocks the living **** out of you. Looking at that Italian girl quitting after 46 seconds was sickening, this is the over correction of diversity and inclusion laid bare for all to see.

Fair play to Harrington saying she won't fight a biological male, I'm sure most of the women are terrified to speak out incase there is backlash. We are living in the ****ing twilight zone.
