I don't think it's quite as simple as being born with genetic advantages as such though, it's a bit more complex. Banned by one boxing governing body but not by the other, muddies the waters. So according to the IBA , Khelif's fails the gender eligibility test that prevents athletes with male XY chromosomes competing in women's events. Khelif isn't subject to a testosterone exam but instead put through a separate test that found she had competitive advantages over other women athletes but does fits the ICO measure. It's a ****ed up situation exacerbated by the on going battle between the ICO and IBA and the difference in their criteria.

As for Harrington, we'll see if she expands on her comments.

She has an established track record of doing so.


What is more pertinent is the fact she has said she would never fight a biological male in the ring and would pull out of any fight against such an opponent.

She got into the ring with Khelif with no complaints at the time or in the four years since doing so, so if we take Kellie at her own words, then she did not regard Khelif as being a biological male and it is not as though the so called controversy surrounding Khelif has been a new thing in boxing circles so any line that she may not have known cannot be used.


Bottom line is the truth.

Khelif is not trans. She was and is not a biological male.


She was born female. She is a woman. She fully identifies as being what she was biologically born as.


Just because idiots in the media (social and mainstream) tried to push a totally fake narrative about her does not make anything they said even remotely true.


The entire saga is actually very distasteful and stinks of being less about the supposed wellbeing of the sport and more about the agendas of the high profile people that were peddling total lies about the woman.
