Yeah they were good the past two matches against big hitters. Personally I was watching the opening mating of the NRLW between the Sharks & Nights. The women’s game has improved loads since its inception.

Yeah I liked Irankunda & Toure in tandem in game 1 but he decided to give them both 45 mins. Hope they both start vs Paraguay

Disappointing result and it looks like a much better second half after some changes were made. Didn’t think Popovic got it right for this one. They are probably a better team right now and have a much better coach. I don’t know how long Popovic’s deal is for but after Arnold and Popovic I’d like to see a more positive approach with whoever comes in next. There are some exciting attacking players coming through so let’s make the most of the current crop. But I do feel like they have made a big step up in terms of producing higher quality players consistently now.

Do you think Staggs should have been sent off rather than a single bin? Looked pretty bad and very late. I didn’t see Ponga’s in game 1 so don’t know how it would compare.

Jojo Fifita looks a great player, how does he go for the Titans?

I only watched the 1st half truth be told. JoJo is a great player & he’s developing well. Plays in the centres for us these days

I was surprised when I saw Matt Ryan wasn’t playing. I don’t see much of the A League anymore and didn’t know who Beach was but we seem to always produce good goalkeepers for whatever reason. Irankunda could be one of those players that lights up the tournament, he’s had a great time with Watford. Same as Toure at Norwich. It’s nice to see the A League producing lots of talented young players and teams making good money selling them off. I’ve always wanted to see it become a development league focusing on giving the young players the opportunity to shine rather than the way it used to be signing has been players and the same average players moving from club to club.
