My AFL Teams did well, Suns & Swans but Titans let me down despite a good 2nd half. We’re definitely a better side under Hannay.

I did not see the change in form from Parramatta coming after we spanked them last weekend.

Manly will have to do what Brisbane did and get rid of a bunch of players his agent signed to the club.

It looks like the panthers are back to their best. Very early days but they look ominous already.

Looking forward to the Titans and Broncos game SB.

Yeah - that was an epic game yesterday - not sure we deserved the win but hey will take it - atmosphere looked brilliant - I would normally have gone but I had tickets to see the Pogues at the Opera House - made for a great day all round !

Haven’t heard if Tracs had his scan yet but will be watching the net today. Yeah the bye system is a joke hey. Same with the league. Any team that gets a bye around SOO time gets an advantage if they’ve got players called up.

Yeah it’s a good start. Could be a big loss with Petracca injured though. Do you know how long he’ll be out for. And what’s with teams having a bye already. How can you play two games and have a bye.

Good to see they got a big crowd in. Two big tournaments at home for them. It looks like they played well but just couldn’t get the goal they needed.

Oh can I just point out that the Suns are 3/3 & all have been wins in excess of 50 points! 68 point winners yesterday over the Tigers.

I missed it as I was out with friends for dinner. They got over 73,000 ppl there which is huge for the women’s game. I heard galant in defeat & we must have missed loads of chances is the feeling I get.

WOW Japan beat Sth Korea 4-1 to make the final against us on Saturday.

It’s not on here as far as I’ve seen. Hope they smash them. Good to see them doing well. Have they been getting good crowds in. I imagine it will be packed for the final. Where is it being played.

Because we finished 2nd on goal difference we played in Perth & got 35k last night & the final is in Sydney. Paramount plus has the rights to all the matches & the Matilda matches are on channel 10.

I don’t know. I don’t get to watch them that much now living in England. They don’t show all the games here.

I think the way Madge has them setup is to peak late in the season with the fitness levels. Like how they finished last season with the constant comebacks.

It also depends on how Reynolds and Hunt go with their age. They are quite dependent on those two to guide them around still. Hopefully by the time Reynolds retires next season players like Walsh and Mamm and the young guy that they signed from the storm that’s at the Eels for the season are able to take over.

It seems like in comps like the AFL and NRL it’s more about how you finish. Get in the top 4 and hit your peak then.

At least that’s what I’m hoping for. Not a good start for the Broncos or the Lions. And the Roar just falling completely off the charts. Although they’re useless and have terrible owners too.

Mate if there’s ever a group of fans that deserve a good season with how the people running the Tigers love to self sabotage.

Plus I’m a big fan of Benji Marshall. He was only at the Broncos for year but I loved how he went about playing.

The 'board' arguments and self destruction is farcical - its never ending just get on with it FFS

And as for Benji yeah he was one of those special one-of-a-kind players alright, also seems to be a decent human being and can hopefully add some coaching success ... he has definitely built a group of players that would seem to want to go into battle for him - good signs.

As for the Broncos - I know its early doors but - wtf has happened ??
