Did anyone else watch the Adelaide & Victory match? What a great finish.match summary in spoilers

Adelaide led 1-0 through Goodwin & were the better side & thought they’d scored a 2nd goal in the 2nd half but VAR overturned it minutes later. Victory equalised shortly after & thought they’d scored the winner but VAR overturned it minutes later for an offside player hindering the keepers view & then in the 97th of 97 minutes Kitto hit a beautiful header into the net for a 2-1 win.

Yup they’ve gone off the boil a bit. I don’t know if it’s the style of play not being sustainable as they’re not going to score a lot of goals and it’s a very intense style or they got on a good run and have dropped to where they belong now. They’ve also had to play a lot of games in short space of time which is unusual for the league and doing it in the middle of summer won’t help.

But one big factor is Herrington going. Australia have a real talent in defence. I remember Zadkovich labelled him the best defender in the league last season and everyone laughed. While he was exaggerating he’s clearly a very good young player.

Another surprise away win. Mariners winning 4-0 away to Adelaide.

That’s a terrible result for Brisbane. Wellington have been so bad this season I don’t know how they lost 3-0 at home against 10 men when defence has been Brisbane’s strong point.

Losing that young CB Herrington is going to be a problem. The little I’ve seen of him he looks a real talent.

Agree on all fronts. The Welli keeper had the match of his life after conceding 5 last week. Also their first clean sheet of the season.

The Roar were **** & despite playing against 10 men & having something like 75-80 % possession got beaten 3-0.

Melbourne City & SFC has to go down as one of the worst matches I’ve watched (after 65 mins. )

The Roar trail Phoenix 1-0 at HT & are playing 10 men since the 38th min. Bility got hooked at the same time as he was having a shocker & gifted Wellington the goal.

Nice to see Garnacho having a bowl for the stars.

I was watching the start of the heat innings while on an emirates flight from Sydney - turned it off once mcsweeney got out, also because it was glitchy on the flight.

Pity I missed a good chase - I watched the heat in down 257 on my flight from
Dubai to Sydney in December

Adelaide with a good 3-2 home win tonight. WSW had so many shots & came back to draw twice but Adelaide got the decisive goal late on.

Good to see Newcastle doing well. It’s been a long and tough time for them with ownership issues.

Just watched the 2nd half of Newcastle vs Sydney in the A League which Newy won 2-0. They have some decent young players coming through.

Just watched the highlights of the Brisbane Perth game in the big bash. Watch the highlights if you haven’t already seen them. Amazing game. Ridiculous chase by the heat. That must be a record for the number of 6’s in a game.

Crickets fun at the moment. Watching the ashes while living in England is making it extra enjoyable.

I watched the Big Bash match live & it’s the best match ever I’ve ever seen. 18 x6’s each, a record run chase, highest partnership in BBL history, over 550 runs scored, an absolute joy to watch.
