We didn’t just win we flogged them. Highest winning margin in our history & I can’t remember us scoring over 150 points in a game either. They weren’t bad in the start but we’d put our foot down & led by ~40 points at 1/4 time. That took the pressure off & we played with freedom after that. Damn it was a good win. Freo in Perth in 10 days time will be good.Originally posted by peterbread View PostSuns make it to their first finals.
All the first weekends games look good.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Crazy isn’t it. Too many teams for the amount of quality players who aren’t playing overseas.Originally posted by peterbread View PostWestern United gone from the A League. Some free players available for the other teams.
Champions a few years ago and now gone.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Popped into the A-League reddit and saw this
New Farm United's 3-2 win in the FQPL4 Metro Semi-final against Moggill has been overturned after they fielded an ineligible player. Moggill will now play in the final against Logan Roos.
I played at Moggill. Nice to see the old club mentioned and was the last thing I expected to see. It was a lot of fun playing there with some really nice people. I’d only just moved to Australia from Hong Kong and it was a massive change in lifestyle and it definitely helped me.

I hope the FA don’t overturn Grimsby’s win over United for the same thingOriginally posted by peterbread View PostPopped into the A-League reddit and saw this

Cats were impressive weren't they? Seem to have the Lions at arms length for most of the match, which takes some doingOriginally posted by peterbread View PostAm I right that a suns win and they play the lions? We could be set for the biggest Q clash ever.
Geelong doing what they always seem to do, when are they going to have their bad patch down at the bottom of the ladder.

I thought the lions had a chance considering they had a very good win down there a few weeks ago.
They’re a well run club and seem to get and keep lots of top players. I always thought Chris Scott came a cross a bit moody and angry but he’s pulled up the press a few times recently and called them out which I’ve enjoyed.

The suns game wasn’t on TV here but I was watching the score online. I’m actually happy they won even as a lions fan. What a game it’s going to be on Saturday. I wish I was there for it.
The lions are in a bit trouble though, looks like the injuries have caught up with them and even if they did beat the suns I can’t see them winning the next two at the MCG.
Do you think Hardwick will win them a tittle in the next few years? They seem to have plenty of young players to build a team around and have a pretty good academy they are benefiting from right now. You could see both the Suns and Lions being at the top for a few years now. The hate I see online for the lions getting academy picks and benefiting from the father son picks is funny coming from the Victorian teams.
