Yeah 4 tries to 1 was pretty dominant & NSW’s defense was superb, especially when down to 12 men

Not really the best of coaches nowadays in state of origin. I’m surprised they brought back Daley and after a good start Slater seems to be following the Fitler path.

I’d love to see a one off battle of the old guard, Gould v Bennett. Might be the only way to get Gould off commentary.

What was the game like? I was out and couldn’t watch. NSW winning 2 in a row in QLD, can’t imagine that’s happened for a long time.

I used to be a Western Suburbs supporter back when they played at Lidcombe Oval back in the 70’s. I used to see most home games for several seasons.

Bit of beef between Hardwick and Lyon. Nepo baby’s of the AFL haha.
Lyon is a dinosaur & he just deflects from his own inadequacies.

Macaulay Gillesphey scored for Charlton in the play off final. Charlton are my dads team from when he was a kid. Macaulay Gillesphey used to play for Brisbane Roar for a season when we used to have season tickets before we left.

Thought I’d put this in here as Ange isn’t very popular in the general football chat and didn’t want to deal with that but I’m really happy for him. I think he’s a better coach than he’s shown at Spurs and what’s happened is one of the reasons when he left Celtic I didn’t think it was a good fit for him. Poorly run club thinking they are bigger than they are.

I always be a fan after he won Brisbane those titles playing some great football and then winning the Asian cup with Australia.

Swans Carlton was a tight & interesting match last night. Swans got up by 16 points in the end.
