    Wright Vs Quartey.

This Saturday 2.00am on SS1. Who wins? I'll go for Wright on points or a late stoppage.

Wright easily enough on points, Quartey to barely land a proper punch

        Wright on points.

Miguel Cotto also won the WBA Welterweight title. He won by stoppage in the fifth. Antonio Margarito also retained his WBO Welterweight title.

Can Cotto and Hatton meet further down the road?

Anyone see Jeff Lacy too, what a joke of a hometown decision :whatever:
"the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"

It's possible. In boxing money talks and I think if a good offer was made to both fighters then I'm sure they'd consider it. The only problem for me is that at Welterweight I think Cotto beats Hatton due to the size diference. If the fight could be made at Light-Welter then I think Hatton would win due to Cotto being weight drained. The biggest stumbling block would definitely be what weight to make the fight at. Hopefully it can happen though.

                  **** me.

Good old Joey did the Yank in good n proper, he looked completely finished

And now he can't even console himself with the size of his biceps he was so proud of, they seemed to have shrunk with his ego after the Calzaghe battering

What happened at ringside during the fight?.
Also, was anyone getting pissed offf listening to some **** shouting Wright, Wright Wright through the whole fight on his own
There was only ever going to be one winning of that fight, Wright was far to big and strong to be troubled by Quartey. What a joke Jeff Lacey is too, how can he get any confidence from that fight, deep down he will know he was beaten, and the psychological damamge of being beaten again must be setting in quietly, despite him getting awarded the win.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
