You're wrong, of course.

TV Go Home was created by Charlie Brooker 7 or 8 years ago and eventually became a (fairly poor) telly programme on Channel 4. It also spawned the Nathan Barley character which was turned into a (fairly brilliant) series, and never ceases to tickle ribs.

I think you'll agree there's a higher standard of observational mirth-making at work here.
