    Joined Up Names

    I was reminded the other day of a thread I put up on the Middlesborough board a few years ago.

    I was getting along great with most of the lads there and it was a good laugh until a regular, who had been on holiday, came on with a poor attitude and started slegging the 'cockney scum' off.

    We argued a bit and I left it. His very next thread was to ask the boro fans to name the best three players they had ever seen.

    I couldn't resist putting up...

    Gary WADDOCK
    Ernie HUNT
    Ian URE

    I got booted off for thet but it was worth it.

    Any other names that we can be grateful never played together?

    Willie Donnachie and Phil Babb for starters.

        Karim BAGHERI and Mario Haas I believe. Both played in the 1998 World Cup. I remember that being mentioned on Skinner and Baddiel's Fantasy Football.

        Is the use of KUNTZ allowed or is that just too easy?

          It's actually Middlesbrough. Not a massive mistake but one that always catches my eye for some reason.
