al khada have confirmed they have put bombs in tins of alphabet

    Very good.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I don't get how they would put the bombs in the tins. Would they have someone at the factory do it? And would it still work with all the alphabet beans mixed with the explosives?

Exactly, and wouldn't the explosion destroy the letters such that they would be unrecognisable, thus, making it impossible to spell disaster? Or is alphabet spagghetti is far more resiliant than what we are aware?

Wouldn't it be classed as a 'letter' bomb?

OK I have re written the original joke to improve the feasibility of it and to make it seasonal

It has been reported that Bin Laden's merry men have infiltrated a toy factory. They have been installing small anti personnel bombs in boxes of Scrabble just in time for Christmas.

This could spell disaster Christmas morning ....

Depends if it it was on a triple point square or not.

Recently I played MegaScrabble (or some such oversize variant) with, IIRC, twice as many squares and letters and they had quadruple word and letter squares.

Needless to say we got bored about halfway through and gave up.

How many hours did it take to get halfway?

Half as many as if they had played a full game

As long as it is and no longer.
