I've watched about 10 episodes of all those combined in my entire life.

I have had the same aversion too for 2D cartoons but trust me South Park is bloody awesome. It has been boring of late but Seasons 1 to 11 are definitely good enough. It's bloody offensively funny.

I tackled The Sopranos last year for the first time and managed to watch about 10 episodes of series one. It was brilliant, just time consuming.

There's always the '10 secs forward" option aka right arrow key that God gifted us with when the show gets boring or when the director decides to go for a long zoom pointless shot
