The random picture thread

With all due respect, I doubt Stephen Fry had the image of two goths with needles sticking out of their bloated heads in mind when he came up with that quote. Maybe it had something to do with politicians or his being gay or whatever.
I fully agree with the whole sentiment he comes out with, and if I wanted, I could post up some really shocking images [which I have refrained from doing] and just tell everyone to go **** themselves. But I don't, because I have the collective in mind.
Now that I've come out with the annoyance I had about the picture, is it not merely enough to just 'That's fair enough', instead of analysing the depth of this philosophical argument? This isn't just 'another thread in the Library, don't like it, don't click it', this is the random picture thread which hundreds of people have contributed to. Should we all tell them 'So ****ing what?'
If I started posting pictures of all types of diseases and skin ****ups, videos of pus coming out of pimples the size of tennis balls and an endless supply of liveleak type leg breaks, car crashes and what not, would it then not stand to reason to say 'C'mon man, give it a break'?

the weird bitches pic was a little extreme, and maybe needed show spoiler tags so the chicken leg didnt offend.
does this mean that more edgey pics can be posted, so long as they aretaggedremoving all the weak links makes us stronger

I know, too be honest it doesn't bother me that pic. It's something someone has chosen to look like. Its no differnt from the cat man, or similar. The examples of stuff you gave are things that people havnt brought on themselves in most cases.Originally posted by sean_lfc View PostWith all due respect, I doubt Stephen Fry had the image of two goths with needles sticking out of their bloated heads in mind when he came up with that quote. I guess people have different thresholds of disgust too. It could have been in spoiler tags, but you still would have looked, and probably had the same reaction? Is that fair to say?
I think everyone knows the guidelines of this thread, sort of some unwritten rules. That pic was probably borderline.*Except Michael, who died.
