But probably just me, but I find her parents writing some nauseating message and using her photo as a poster quite distasteful tbh.

I agree to an extent, but I something like that can give more people hope I'm all for it.

It's a lovely story and she is so brave to have done what she did, I don't think the message is to use her as a poster, more to reassure people that it can be done, people do survive that terrible disease.
