These fish are not real but incredible layered paintings
These are the paintings of masterful artist Keng Lye, who paints 3D objects using layer after layer of clear resin painted with acrylic. Kind of like a human 3D printer. The results are so realistic that anyone can believe there are real fish and octopi inside some of these plates and bowls.
This red octopus is his latest creation. He told My Modern Metropolis that he's planning to do two more layers on this one: "The diameter of the work is about 150mm and maybe about 2cm in depth. I found that the most challenging thing, so far, is creating depth, seeing as the container is fairly shallow, in order to achieve realism in the work."

This amazing photo by Brian Smith shows one of the two gigantic 98.2-foot (30 meters) high horse heads that have just been completed in Scotland. They call them The Kelpies
They were designed by sculptor Andy Scott and built using steel for both the structure and the cladding right next to the Forth and Clyde Canal in Falkirk, in Scotland, as part of a land transformation project called The Helix.

How many legs does a scorpion have?
If you look closely at the design recently tattooed onto the skin of BBC Question Time presenter David Dimbleby, the answer appears to be six.
But scorpions - members of the arachnida class along with spiders - actually have eight legs, as well as their distinctive pincers.
