Mother sparks online backlash after posting disturbing video of her teen daughter breaking both feet in pool jump to raise money for her medical expenses

An Arizona mother has found herself under fire after posting a video online showing her daughter breaking her feet while jumping off a roof on a dare in a bid to raise money for the injured teen.

Carrie Yunker, of Peoria, created a page on the popular crowdfunding site gofundme.com, asking the online community to help her raise $4,200 that will be used to cover her daughter Nicole Easton's everyday expenses for the next several of months while she recovers from her injuries.

In a post on the fundraising site, Yunker explained that her daughter just graduated from high school, had a good job and had recently moved into her first home 'as an adult' when disaster struck.

One afternoon, Yunker worte, her daughter and her roommates 'were being crazy young adults' and decided to leap from the roof of their house into the backyard pool.
'I'm surprised that Nicole would even try something like that,' the mother said. 'She's not the very daring type.'

In the video of the incident posted by Yunker on YouTube, her daughter, dressed in a pink bikini, could be seen nervously laughing and squealing in terror on the roof alongside another girl as she is being incited to jump by her boyfriend, who had already taken a leap into the pool moments earlier.
At the last second, Nicole hesitated and missed the pool, instead landing with a loud thud on the concrete deck, breaking both her feet.

In her online plea for help, Yunker explained that while her daughter did not have health insurance, her father was able to add her to his plan.
The accident landed the girl in a wheelchair, and she is expected to be disabled for the next six weeks, according to her mother.

Yunker then went on to explain that her daughter not being able to work for a while means that she would be unable to cover her share of the rent and bills, which could result in her losing her home.

The mother gave a breakdown of her daughter's expenses, writing that she will need $1,800 for rent for half a year and $2,400 for expenses like food, toiletries, phone and utilities.

'One way, or another she will survive,' Yunker wrote. 'But honestly Nicole could really use some financial help. Of course Her Father, and I will help. But We can only help so much.

'I've always been a very giving person, and I believe you reap what you sow.'
But instead of an outpouring of support, Yunker was inundated with negative comments from people who expressed outrage that the family expected the Internet community to foot the bill for her daughter's ill-advised stunt.

'So we're supposed to feel sorry for your daughter doing something stupid?' Cory Noll wrote in the comments section of the crowdfunding account. 'I'm only 27 and when I was young and did something stupid on my own, I had to pay for the consequences, not anyone else.

'If anything, no one should donate and this will serve as a lesson for your daughter. She's supposedly an adult now and she'll have to pay the consequences for her stupidity.'

Yunker's video of the incident got a similar reception on YouTube, where a user by the name thenhl15 fumed: 'Actually, the scumbag thing to do is to expect other people to pay for your fantastically stupid mistakes.
Another commenter, John Proffer, slammed Nicole Easton as 'idiot of the year.'

In reaction to the torrent of criticism she has received, Carrie Yunker made an attempt to defend herself on gofundme.com, explaining that she only started the account to help her daughter.

On Tuesday afternoon, she wrote: 'I really feel sorry for all the people that are so negative. I've never had, or even took the time to post such mean comments. I'll pray for each, and everyone of you as you sit , and type your negative comments to us.'

Yunker has seen removed the video of her daughter's accident. Only five people have donated a total of $80 towards Nicole Easton's expenses.
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Some people are such w*nkers. And I don't mean the mother or the daughter.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Why does the girl in the black bikini hold her nose but then release it mid-jump? Are they dumb?

I mean, I know they are jumping off a roof but are they dumb?
