The Japs make some fantastic TV.
Check this one out. I remember when i first watched it at a mates place. Absolutely cacked ourselves.
They're in a library and they have to try keep quiet
You have to watch it with sound, the giggling just makes it funnier.

I think the series Endurance would be hard to beat.
Remember them tying contestants to chairs and then playing the sound of a chargin snorting bull behind them on a cart so it sounded like it was getting closer.
Also the one where they covered the contestants in fish food and dipped them head first in to a pool full of hungry giant catfish

They are ****ing brilliant the Jap gameshows. I could watch them all day
Takeshi's Castle is still one of the best. The part where they have to charge through one of the doors, knowing one of the 4 is a solid concrete wall, some of them absolutely launch into it

Saw one once where some nut jub launched himself head first at every door...worked on the first door, but not on the second...oh my god...it looked so painful.
Also watched some lad launch himself shoulder first at one of the non-paper doors only to smash straight through it....
Ditto on that one, either that or the thing that Richard Hammond presented on the Beeb...Total Wipeout or something like that?
