One of my best mates, complete ****head, sacked off the London rat race to live in an off-grid community on a Portuguese mountainside. He's the most content and healthy he's ever been, does Yoga and has been vegan for the last year. Full on hippy.
It's the food bit I'd struggle with most but the kind of lifestyle in that vid appeals.

At the moment I'm in the process of house hunting, I can pay off whats left right now or the mortgage will end in 2 years, however, I'm looking at new places which will mean getting another mortgage for 15 years. The crazy thing is that I'm looking at cottages with land so I can live a simpler life, but at the cost of the financial freedom I'll have, the simpler life will be a financial burden, so is it really?
