They should show more of this kind of stuff online, we all need to see what our local officials are up to.

I was having a drink with a very posh lawyer, incredibly plummy voice, and he was telling me about his job as parish clerk somewhere down in Suffolk. It sounded hilariously like this, but he said the whole meeting was flummoxed by a raised point about the problems of something called "dogging" in the local area. The meeting was interrupted for 25 minutes because none of them knew what it was and that all had to look it up on google. **** knows what ads the great and the good of the local parish got after that.

It's amazing what a bit of parochial power does to some people. That vid was reminiscent of some Labour Party branch meetings I've been to - people arguing bitterly about process, getting bogged down in disputes about stultifyingly dull process and jargon. Like a Reece Shearsmith sketch

We were let down by them refusing to get them back in again, I'd love that Teams break out room to drop.

As an Architect I've had to attend loads of these Planning Committee meetings....

You will never come across a more pompous, arrogant, petty minded, sanctimonious bunch of fogies that you do at these meetings; especially if the Parish is involved

Most of them don't understand the drawings even when explained to them

The amount of refusals we have overturned at Appeal is ridiculous - just makes the whole process so much more long winded
