Some Amazon reviews are comical. I especially the one loved years ago when the review section of David Hasslehoffs albums were hijacked with people writing mock rave reviews of his albums.
It was extra funny seeing the occasional replies from some yanks who bought the album based on these reviews and one ranter who accused all Brits of being retards for liking it.

Reminds of the Amazon customer reviews for the seminal Jordan / Andre collaboration.
Highlights include:
This amazing array of songs lifted me up so much that it cured my terminal cancer, a brilliant album sung by the two most talented human beings on the planet.
The recently crowned 'Orange Elvis' and his baboon wife have really pulled off a stonker with this album. Razor sharp melodies and blistering harmonies repeatedly stab you in the groin and sear your wounds for the whole 52 minutes and 67 seconds duration of this epic masterpiece. Pete 'The Greek' Andre's falsetto truly reflects all those hours he spends with wife, Katie 'Funbagz' Price's soiled underwear riding up his crotch. Thanks to this CD i can now breathe underwater like Kevin Costner in Westworld. Oh and Track 6 gave me diarrhoea.
Since this recording entired my life, I have transformed. My very essence has been irreversibly altered by the dulcet tones of this magical duo.
Sworn to protect masters Price and Andre from all detractors, I now live in the shadows, following and serving the duo from whom such explosive joy irradiates. A kind of joy which I thought never to exist, that holds the power to cleanse the soul, to combust entire nations, to tear the very universe into bloody tatters. Never has such a mighty emotional force been harboured within such tender balladry. I find myself in rapture, in a delirium from which I never wish to recover.
I now follow them in the darkness, slithering around the throats of their enemies. My sword is eternally drawn. I will defend the mighty ones.
How could anyone not buy this piece of brilliance. This is just way beyond brilliance. In fact if you were to call it just brilliant you'd be wrong! You'd be insulting it! Because it's way, way beyond the most brilliant brilliance that humanity could possibly aspire to. It's, it's mega-brilliant!
As someone who has spent 20+ yrs learning to play a musical instrument I was so amazed by the talent on display here that I have just amputated all my fingers as I will never reach this level of virtuoisty. I have managed to type this with one of my severgdd digits held in my mouth.Sorry but it is very difiicult to type with a blood obscured keyboard and tears running down my face.
Listening to this CD for the first time was a seminal moment in my life.
As a previous devotee to heavily specialised dance such as "iconoclastic, trans-atlantic trance" and "slow roasted, heavily urbanised, West-coast biased - bombastic gangsta-junglist" this CD was pretty much out of my musical stratosphere.
But after being given a copy of 'A Whole New World' at the 'Daily Mirror - Pride of Britian Awards', its not an understatement to say this album has changed my life.
Unprepared as I was for the pure wave of emotion which would hit me, I wept at the simplicity and the purity achieved by Peter and Katie during the first track. Andre has such a rich, powerful delivery which balances perectly with the gentle eradite vocal brilliance of Price, which literally took my breath away.
Track 2 left me equally staggered, and the mixture of brave and charismatic sounds just floored me. I felt humbled.
By the end of track 4 - 'Islands In The Stream' the raw beauty of their combined talent had triggered such strong introspection, and evoked such powerful feelings of humanity, freedom, courage, affection, harmony and heroism, I couldnt even make it to track 5.
I experienced an ephiphany.
I stood up, shed my clothes, removed my bling and walked out of my luxury crib.......straight into the nearest river, where I now live.
I have rejected my former hedonistic, materialistic, vain, shallow, ego driven life. I no longer compete with the masses. I enjoy a peaceful existence amongst the fish and otters.
I am at peace, I am free. I am friends with fish
I am personally planning an endeavour to repaint the Sistine Chapel depicting Peter Andre as society's new Messiah.
I must be honest and say it has taken me some time to come to my senses again after listening to the masterpiece that is "A whole new world". I was paralayzed with emotion and unable to function for a good 5 minutes. I don't think I have felt this way since Boney M released their 3rd album.
Anyway, I have decided to share their work with future generations of this planet. I have therefore decided to burn my house down and bury a copy of "A whole new world" in a tin box where my house once stood. I am then going to rebuild my house on top, sealing this treasure for ever.
Anyway, I'm off to find some matches.
I was being chased down the street when i tripped over a wheelie bin and skinned my knees. It hurt really bad but then, from out of nowhere, a sound healed me.Not only that, it helped me to my feet and gave me new power to run faster and escape my pursuers.
The sound was this album, blasting from a nearby car.Imagine my surprise when i found out the cars driver was Lional Richie.I feel i owe all three of them my life. Thanks guys.
Imagine in your mind the ascent of man picture it begins with lowly reptile gradually becoming a modern man. Imagine the first music round the ancient camp fires, probably knocking sticks together. Then came Jazz, Blues Rock and roll. Now a new age has dawned. Forget all that has been and ever will be. This is the dawning of the age of Peter and Katie. After listening to the divine pure sounds on this album I realised that I could no longer sully my ears with further inferia sounds, so promptly glued up my ears with epoxy resin. I now have the track listing tattoed on my face and also with wife and 4 children. We now live a monastic life in a trout pond in Reading and spend our days creating illustrated manuscript copies of the lyrics of this album.
All hail Katie and Peter for they are the word and that word is good.
