Also is there any point to competing in the tournament? A couple of times i have got through to the 3rd and even 4th round (not bad considering i was lvl 8) but have seen no reward, be it exp/items/abilities. Are there only prizes for the final 8 or something?

it's towards your ranking at the top of the screen...the further you get in tournaments the faster you get into the ranks

Had my best tourny result last tournament, somehow my brute got through to 7h, what ever that means...normally i'm out by 4 30h or 5h

I've stopped playing it, when it became obvious the levelling dynamic was so flawed and open to exploitation it just seemed a bit pointless
