          Well with football you are just a fan at the whim of some overpaid prima donnas who generally couldn't give a **** if you support their team or not. We cry when some random millionaire we know nothing about fails to kick a bit of plastic between two posts in a corporate marketing event hundreds of miles away.

                Yes, l would think a fairly large proportion of the people who play WoW are addicted to it in varying degrees.

                Because there is a monthly subscription, its in the game designers interest to make them want to keep playing the game for as long as possible. In short, it pays them to make it addictive.

                Unfortunately, I doubt that a site like that would help the majority of people who are addicted as one of the classic symptoms of being an addict is denial - maybe it would help them once they accepted they had a problem though.
