I've seen the full clip of this, the guy is a policeman and martial arts expert and has just been training.

Its amazing how much power these guys can make through an apparently short or relatively slow strike. I used to train with a guy who was a middleweight world champion and he demonstrated the power of "chi" to me. All I can say is wow, he struck me on the chest with a slow punch and knocked me back a few feet. This slap was a forearm strike to the side of the head, knocking the brain about from side to side would knock most people out cold.
