    It is funny but it's also important to remember it's not unrepresentative.

    My grandfather didn't allow my mum to go to university because he thought she would end up overeducated and no man would want to marry her. Unbelievable. It ****ed up her life.

    Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

        I know how she feels, I didn't go to University either but that was because I was lazy and couldn't be arsed. Fudged my life up too.

          I still don't know what was wrong with buying the hoover for her birthday. She showed me it the week before and clearly wanted it, thought it was deffo a hint.
