I kind of knew there would be a thread on this already

Its tough to be original these days, nobody sends out humorous emails any more...

              Its true.

I used to regularly receive about 10-20 mildly amusing emails per week. Now I get basically 1 every 2 months.

WTF is happening? Has the company that distributes mirth and humour shut down?

Its the ****ing bankers I tells ya.

I was thinking this recently actually. Gone are the days of seeing emails titled "FW: FW: FW: FW:......." cluttering up the inbox.

Glad it's not just me though. You've confirmed my fears Zo of Buz. Unless people think we're both miserable *******s and don't see the point in forwarding such emails on to us.

Mmm. I reckon I am always really appreciative when people send me a funny email. So it is disappointing to think that this may be the reason.

People don't send them as often anymore, they post them on facebook instead

That link has just inspired me....

We have new neighbours and they asked my wife if she knew about a dog walking service as they are interested in getting a dog but both work. A work friend of hers just happens to be looking for a home for a dog so my wife sent my neighbours an email with a photo of Rocky the whippet cross last night....

I've just spoofed my wife an email from my neighbours address:-

                          Hi Lisa

Thank you for the photo of Rocky, he looks nice though a little bit larger than we expected, but thats not a massive issue.

We want a dog to get fit, which he would be ideal for, but also to keep the grandchildren entertained when they're over. There is another dog that we have been offered called Max, a Springer Spaniel who can do a few tricks, but he'll cost £200.

Do you know if Rocky can do any tricks? We don't expect him to be able to dance like the one off BGT lol, but it would be good if he could sit, beg and play dead. If he could walk on his hind legs too, that would be a deal maker. I know its an odd request, but we really won't have the time to teach the dog a lot, so if we can get one ready prepped it would be a huge advantage.

Are you able to contact your friend and find out what tricks he can do?

                          Sorry for the hassle

                          Gareth

She'll be knocking on their door first thing tonight giving them a run down on what Rocky is capable of and they'll be none the wiser.
