Depends on the phone but with Android you click on attachments and then it directs to 'Gallery' to choose the file

Right, when you click 'manage attachments' on here it opens a window and you click on 'choose file', same as on PC browser. Then you get to choose the file location, choose 'document' and the menu opens with your phone gallery. Click and upload
