    Ribery to Arsenal...

He'll sign for £13.5M this week, according to the Guardian and various others.

    He's fcukin class.

hes got talent like, but ive not seen anything special from him. looks like hes gonna fall over the ball sometimes when hes dribbling with it. goes missing a lot too. deffo not worth that ammount

Great dribbler - not sure about his end product.

he wasnt that good during the WC. He certainly has skills, but at times seems to try do too much with the ball. Woeful finishing as well

        13mill is way too much

The non-plussed replies from you lot surprises me. I think he's super.

The worst thing for me would be him going to Arsenal and Wenger's fantastic ability to improve a players game.

Ribery under Wenger could be fantastic.

Not every 'expensive young prospect' succeeds under Wenger's tutelage mate.

Jeffers, Van Bronckhorst, Pennant, Wright, etc etc.

Not made my mind up about Ribery yet. Sometimes flatters to deceive, sometimes brilliant and sometimes absolutely ****e.

It's all well and good Arsenal signing these flair players, but with the back four (and lack of strength in depth in that department) they have they'll never win the title.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

True, but there is every chance that he can polish the rough edges out of Ribery's game. If that happens he is going to cause many teams a lot of problems. He reminds me a little of Steve McManaman, in so much as, he can dribble with the ball at the same speed as he runs without the ball. Not many players have that ability.

Ribery and Rosicky to replace the old Pires/Lundberg wings basically then. That could be really very good, it really could. Ribery didn't have a fantastic WC but then neither really did Henry, and we all know what he can do in the league. I still think they are going to have issues unless they bring in several more players at the back though....

                      I rate Hleb too.

Wonder how they're going to accomodate them all?

I suppose that whingeing greasebag Reyes will be allowed to go to Madrid now actually.

I've not seen enough of him to comment - tho what I did see in the world cup he didn't live up to his hype(then again who did?)

He obviously has ability, it just seems a lot of money for someone I reckon will just get the **** kicked out of him

                        Cool Scar tho!

yeh think they have done prettygood with that swap. think the old partnershipoffered a bit more width. but Ribery is a special talent of that there is no doubt

He needs some time yet to prove how good he is
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see Arsenal sign another attacking player when it's as clear as day that they need to strengethen their defence.
