Atletico Madrid sports chief Jesus Pitarch has put Premiership clubs on red alert after admitting they can't afford to hold onto star striker Fernando Torres.
The Atletico captain will feature at Old Trafford tonight for Spain against England and has Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea all chasing his signature.
"To hold on to Fernando Torres, a product of the youth system, seems virtually impossible," he told Onda Deportiva radio.
"I do not believe that we will be able to keep him here permanently.
"If he continues here it will be through his own will, because he has decided to stay."
