    Torres for sale.

Man Utd, Arsenal alerted as Atletico admit Torres sale
    tribalfooball.com - February 06, 2007

Atletico Madrid sports chief Jesus Pitarch has put Premiership clubs on red alert after admitting they can't afford to hold onto star striker Fernando Torres.

The Atletico captain will feature at Old Trafford tonight for Spain against England and has Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea all chasing his signature.

"To hold on to Fernando Torres, a product of the youth system, seems virtually impossible," he told Onda Deportiva radio.

"I do not believe that we will be able to keep him here permanently.

"If he continues here it will be through his own will, because he has decided to stay."
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

        Yeah, it does.
He has the talent imo, but has gone stale in the comfort zone at his beloved Atletico.
        He needs a new challenge.

Hope not. He's even worse than Morientes was with us... He's lazy and scuba dives all the time. IMHO we don't need him anyways.

Plus Voronin will sign in the summer

did you see Torres during the world cup? he was very good.

He has just gone stale at Atletico, a change will do him the world of good.

To be fair, Diouf also looked good in a World Cup

He is a similar player to Rooney so im not sure why Fergie would want to strikers who like to come deep and link play up. Would have thought they would want a David Villa type player.

                          Anyone is for sale.

It will be interesting this Summer with Torres and Villa and if tey do decide to leave there clubs, and if he can ake it at other clubs. Alot of hype upon these two guys shoulders.

I expect Rafa to go for one of these
