I prefer to watch NI play than ROI over the last couple of years.

NI play with a hunger and passion and just do not give up on any ball. ROI play some of the dullest and defeatist football I have seen. Turgid viewing coupled with an elitist attitude. I don't expect to see ROI win tournaments, but some pride and passion when they are on the pitch would do me.

Lets face it, we are tiny nations and success on the pitch will always be cyclical - we don't even have fully professional leagues.

NI was up when ROI was down and then vice versa. It will be that way forever more. Still its nice to see a fellow Irishman supporting us on our way!!
