Thanjk you.

Good player, not enough to be first choice of course but a decent signing for them as they need backup in centre mid - they're going to lose a few players for the African nations cup in the coming season.
It's an odd one alright. A very much more Mourinho than Abramovich signing. If true I suspect this summer Jose will be given one last chance to have his way with the players in.
I wonder if Ballack will leave as Jose has said he wants to keep a small squad.

I'm not sure thats fair. What were his alternatives, if he wants to improve as a player? A reasonable analogy is Parker who despite not playing a lot at Chelsea improved a lot and got well paid. Maybe he is greedy but I think that calling him stupid and naive is unfair.

He'll go the way of Scott Parker, Wayne Bridge and SWP....
If he want to develop as a footballer, he should go to Arsenal or Spurs or something...

To be fair I think Scott Parker has ended up where his talent deserves. Not sure that Arsenal would want him. I agree if available Spurs might have been a better option but they have a pile of central midfielders so games could be as hard to come by as at Chelsea.
