I'm not sure thats fair. What were his alternatives, if he wants to improve as a player? A reasonable analogy is Parker who despite not playing a lot at Chelsea improved a lot and got well paid. To be fair I think Scott Parker has ended up where his talent deserves. Not sure that Arsenal would want him.
