Fiorentina president Diego Della Valle insists he will abide by Luca Toni's decision to leave the club this summer.
The 30-year-old Italian striker, who is under contract with the Viola until June 2009, is a target for Bayern Munich, and some reports suggest the two clubs have already reached an agreement for Toni to play for the German giants next season.
And Della Valle admitted he will not stand in the way of Toni's wishes.
"With Toni there is no need to talk," said Della Valle. "He and I know everything there is to know.
"He has made up his mind (to leave), he is a champion, he is good person and he merits our and everyone's respect."
Toni, who was a member of Italy's World Cup winning side last year, joined the Viola from Palermo in the summer of 2005.
In his first campaign with the Florence-based outfit, he helped the club qualify for the Champions League qualifiers while he also finished as the top scorer in Serie A with 31 goals.
Fiorentina were unable to play in Europe this season after being handed a points deduction for match-fixing, but Toni was the team's joint-top scorer alongside Adrian Mutu with 16 goals.
Anyone else think he would be a good signing if he hasnt gone to Bayern already???
